Why buy the Infinix GT 50 Pro
- Real gaming power. The Dimensity 8400 Ultimate is an upper mid-range chip with all big CPU cores. It runs demanding games at high settings that slower phones have to turn down.
- Triggers on the frame. The shoulder zones act like extra buttons, so you can aim and shoot without covering the screen with your thumbs.
- Cooling that holds performance. The liquid cooling loop helps the phone keep its speed during long sessions instead of slowing down as it heats up, which matters on a hot afternoon.
- Fast storage and lots of RAM. 12GB of RAM and UFS 4.1 storage mean quicker game loading and less app reloading when you switch away.
- Big battery with wireless charging. 6,500mAh in the global version, and bypass charging lets you play while plugged in without heating the battery as much.
Pros and cons

| 12GB RAM with UFS 4.1 storage | IP64 only |
| 30W wireless charging | Average 8MP ultra-wide and 13MP selfie cameras |
| Bright 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED | No memory card slot or headphone jack |

Verdict: The Poco X8 Pro Max has the faster chip, a much bigger battery, quicker wired charging and IP68, so it is the stronger all-rounder for KSh 10,100 more. The GT 50 Pro makes sense if you value the shoulder triggers, the 144Hz screen, wireless charging and a lighter body for long gaming sessions, or if your budget stops below KSh 60,000.
