The 600 Lite is the most affordable phone in Honor’s 2026 number series. It went on sale in March 2026, starting in Malaysia. It fits students, first-time 5G buyers and anyone who wants a neat everyday phone with long software support.

Why buy the Honor 600 Lite
- Light but long-lasting. A 6,520mAh battery in a 7.3mm, 180g body is an unusual mix. Most phones with this much capacity are thicker and heavier.
- Six Android upgrades. Starting on Android 16, it is set to receive major updates for years, which is rare in this price range.
- Premium materials. Glass on both sides and an aluminium frame make it feel more expensive than it is.
- Comfortable screen. The 6.6-inch AMOLED is sharp, and the 3840Hz PWM dimming is gentler on the eyes for late-night reading in a dark room.
- Handles the weather. IP66 covers dust and strong water jets, so a downpour on the walk home is not a concern.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Thin, light and well built | Video tops out at 1080p |
| Big 6,520mAh battery | Only a basic 5MP ultra-wide |
| Up to 6 Android upgrades | No microSD slot |
| Bright 120Hz AMOLED | IP66, not IP68 |
| 5G and 256GB storage | 45W charging is slower than some rivals |
Honor 600 Lite vs Honor X9d
| Honor 600 Lite 5G | Honor X9d 5G | |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Dimensity 7100 Elite | Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 |
| Screen | 6.6″ AMOLED, 120Hz | 6.79″ AMOLED, 120Hz |
| Main camera | 108MP, 1080p video | 108MP with OIS, 4K video |
| Battery / charging | 6,520mAh / 45W | 8,300mAh / 66W |
| Durability | IP66 | IP68 and IP69K |
| Body | Glass and aluminium, 7.3mm, 180g | Plastic, 7.8mm, 193g |
| Avechi price (8GB/256GB) | KSh 35,999 | KSh 41,999 |
Verdict: The X9d is the tougher, longer-running phone, with a much bigger battery, faster charging, 4K video and stronger water protection for KSh 5,000 more. The 600 Lite is lighter, thinner and has a more premium finish. Pick the 600 Lite for comfort and looks; pick the X9d if battery life and durability come first.
