The Samsung Galaxy S24 5G price in Kenya is KSh 57,999 to KSh 119,999 at Avechi, depending on the version you pick from the RAM / Storage menu above. It comes with a 1-year warranty, and you can have it delivered or pick it up from our Nairobi shop.
The Galaxy S24 launched in January 2024 as Samsung’s compact flagship. Nearly three years later it is one of the few small phones still on sale with a 3x zoom camera and long update support. It is for people who find most current phones too big, and who want a flagship-grade screen in a 6.2-inch body.

Why buy the Galaxy S24
- Small and light. At 147mm tall and 167g it slips into a shirt pocket and is easy to use with one hand, unlike most 6.7-inch phones.
- A 3x zoom lens in a compact phone. The 10MP telephoto with OIS is a step above the 8MP unit on the S25 FE, and it is rare at this size.
- A very bright screen. With a 2,600-nit peak, the S24’s display outshines both FE models and stays readable under the midday sun.
- Still years of updates left. Samsung promised seven Android upgrades from Android 14, so support should run to around 2031.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Compact, light flagship design | 4,000mAh battery; heavy users may need a midday top-up |
| 10MP 3x telephoto with OIS | Slow 25W charging |
| Bright 120Hz LTPO screen | 128GB model uses slower UFS 3.1 storage |
| IP68 and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 | Two years older than the S25 FE, so support ends sooner |
| Good price for a former flagship | 512GB version is overpriced |
Galaxy S24 vs Galaxy S25 FE
| Galaxy S24 (2024) | Galaxy S25 FE (2025) | |
|---|---|---|
| Screen | 6.2″, up to 2,600 nits | 6.7″, up to 1,900 nits |
| Processor | Same: Exynos 2400 (global version) | |
| Telephoto | 10MP 3x | 8MP 3x |
| Battery / charging | 4,000mAh, 25W | 4,900mAh, 45W |
| Weight | 167g | 190g |
| Android at launch | Android 14 | Android 16 |
| Avechi price (8GB/128GB) | KSh 57,999 | KSh 59,999 |
Verdict: Only KSh 2,000 separates them, and both use the same chip. The S25 FE gives you a bigger battery, faster charging and about two extra years of updates, so it is the better pick for most people. Choose the S24 if small size and a brighter screen matter more than battery life.
Other phones to consider
- Samsung Galaxy S25 FE (from KSh 59,999): bigger screen and battery for a little more.
- Samsung Galaxy S26 (from KSh 96,999): Samsung’s current standard flagship, with 12GB RAM and twice the storage of the base S24.
- Samsung Galaxy A57 5G (from KSh 43,499): cheaper, with IP68 and long update support.
