Why buy the Honor X6C
- Large battery: The 5300mAh cell is non-removable, so the 35W charger matters for quick top-ups.
- Smooth scrolling: The 120Hz refresh rate on a 6.61-inch screen looks smoother than a standard 60Hz panel.
- Everyday camera: The 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 lens handles daily photos. Video stops at 1080p at 30fps.
- Tougher than most at this price: IP64 dust and water resistance and a 1.5m drop rating help with rough handling.
- Storage choice: The 128GB version keeps the cost down. The 256GB version leaves more room for photos, apps and offline media.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| 120Hz refresh rate on a 6.61-inch screen | HD+ resolution (720 x 1604) is low for a screen this size |
| 5300mAh battery with 35W wired charging | The microSD slot shares the SIM tray, so you cannot run two SIMs and a memory card together |
| 50MP main camera and 5MP selfie camera | Video maxes out at 1080p at 30fps |
| IP64 rating and 1.5m drop resistance | Entry-level chip, so heavy gaming will show its limits |
| Android 15 with MagicOS 9 out of the box | LCD panel rather than AMOLED, so blacks look greyer |
