The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 price in Kenya is KSh 79,999 to KSh 82,999 at Avechi, depending on the version you pick from the RAM / Storage menu above. It comes with a 1-year warranty, and you can have it delivered or pick it up from our Nairobi shop.
Samsung launched the Flip 6 in July 2024. Two newer Flips have come out since, which is why it now sells for well under KSh 100,000. It is the most affordable way to get a Samsung flagship-class foldable with 12GB of RAM, a Snapdragon chip and a 50MP main camera, as long as you can live with a small outer screen.

Why buy the Galaxy Z Flip 6
- Foldable at a mid-range price. At KSh 79,999 it costs about the same as many regular flagships, yet folds down to a square that slips into a shirt pocket.
- Still quick. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 12GB RAM handle gaming, editing and heavy multitasking without strain, two years after launch.
- A sharp main camera. The 50MP sensor with OIS takes clear daytime shots, and you can use it for selfies by framing yourself on the cover screen.
- Long support. Seven years of updates from 2024 means it should keep getting security patches until about 2031.
- Wireless charging included. It charges on any Qi pad and can top up earbuds from its back.
Pros and cons

| Compact and light when closed | Slow 25W charging |
| Seven years of updates | No telephoto lens |
| 512GB costs only KSh 3,000 more | IP48 gives weak dust protection |
Galaxy Z Flip 6 vs Galaxy Z Flip 7
| Z Flip 6 (2024) | Z Flip 7 (2025) | |
|---|---|---|
| Cover screen | 3.4″, 60Hz | 4.1″, 120Hz |
| Main screen | 6.7″ | 6.9″ |
| Processor | Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 | Exynos 2500 |
| Battery | 4,000mAh | 4,300mAh |
| Thickness closed / weight | 14.9mm / 187g | 13.7mm / 188g |
| Cameras / charging | Same: 50MP + 12MP, 25W wired, 15W wireless | |
| Avechi price (12GB/256GB) | KSh 79,999 | KSh 109,699 |
Verdict: The Flip 7’s bigger, smoother cover screen is the main upgrade, along with a slightly larger battery and a thinner hinge. Cameras and charging speed did not change. With nearly KSh 30,000 between them, the Flip 6 is the value pick. If you want the bigger outer screen, skip the Flip 7 and look at the Z Flip 8, which costs less than the Flip 7 at Avechi.
