Samsung Galaxy M36 5G 8GB/128GB Price in Kenya
The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G 8GB/128GB is KSh 29,499 at Avechi, in stock with a 1-year warranty, with delivery or pick-up from our Nairobi shop. This is the 8GB RAM version of the Galaxy M36 5G; storage is the same 128GB as the base model. For the camera, screen and A26 comparison, read our full Galaxy M36 review and specs.
Who should buy the 8GB version?
- People who switch apps constantly. The extra 2GB of RAM lets WhatsApp, Chrome, M-Pesa and a music app stay open in the background, so they reopen where you left them instead of reloading.
- Casual gamers. Games such as eFootball or Call of Duty Mobile are less likely to restart when you step out to answer a message.
- Buyers planning to keep the phone for years. With up to six Android upgrades, apps will get heavier over the phone’s life, and 8GB gives more breathing room later on.
- Not a storage upgrade. Both versions hold 128GB, enough for roughly 20,000 photos alongside your apps. For more space, add a microSD card (it uses the second SIM slot).
Galaxy M36 versions compared
| Variant | RAM | Storage | Avechi price | Difference vs this one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy M36 5G 6GB/128GB | 6GB | 128GB | KSh 28,699 | KSh 800 less |
| Galaxy M36 5G 8GB/128GB | 8GB | 128GB | KSh 29,499 | This version |
At only KSh 800 more, this is the version we would pick. One third more RAM for under one thousand shillings is a fair trade, and it should keep the phone feeling quicker in its later years. The 6GB model is only worth choosing if every shilling counts and you use the phone mainly for calls, chats and browsing.
