Why buy the Galaxy M16 5G
- 5G and AMOLED for under KSh 22,000. Many phones at this price still use LCD screens and 4G chips. The M16 gives you both upgrades.
- 6GB of RAM as standard. The only version we stock has 6GB, so apps like WhatsApp, TikTok and Google Maps stay open in the background without reloading.
- Six years of Android updates. Starting on Android 15 with up to six major upgrades, it outlasts most budget phones by a wide margin.
- All-day battery. A 5,000mAh cell with an efficient 6nm chip lasts a full day of normal use for most people.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Low price for a 5G Samsung | No optical stabilisation on the main camera |
| Full HD+ AMOLED display | Screen is dimmer outdoors than the M17’s |
| Up to 6 Android upgrades | 1080p video only |
| microSD slot and NFC | 25W charging is slow |
