Who should buy the 1TB version?
- Video creators. The Find X9 Ultra films 8K at 30fps, 4K at up to 120fps and 10-bit Log, all of which produce very large files. With 1TB you can shoot a full wedding, safari or event and still have room before offloading to a laptop.
- Photographers who shoot at 200MP. Full-resolution shots from the two 200MP cameras are many times larger than normal photos, and 1TB lets you keep thousands of them on the phone.
- Power users. The extra 4GB of RAM (16GB versus 12GB) helps when editing video on the phone while other apps stay open.
- Who can skip it. If you mostly take normal 50MP or 12MP photos, film short clips and back up to the cloud, 512GB is already generous. Neither version has a memory card slot.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra versions compared
| Variant | RAM | Storage | Avechi price | Difference vs this one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oppo Find X9 Ultra 5G 12GB/512GB | 12GB | 512GB | KSh 182,199 | KSh 41,800 less |
| Oppo Find X9 Ultra 5G 16GB/1TB | 16GB | 1TB | KSh 223,999 | This version |
The KSh 41,800 premium buys twice the storage plus 4GB more RAM, which is a fairer deal than many 1TB upgrades. Still, cameras, battery and screen are identical, so it only pays off if you genuinely film a lot of 8K or 4K video or shoot at full 200MP. For everyone else, the 12GB/512GB model is the better use of money.
