Why buy the Moto G56 5G
- Rare water protection for the price. IP68 and IP69 cover submersion to 1.5m for 30 minutes and high-pressure water, which few phones under KSh 30,000 offer.
- Built to survive drops. MIL-STD-810H testing and a 1.2m drop rating suit people who work outdoors or on the move.
- Plenty of memory. 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage keep apps open and leave space for photos, with microSD as a backup.
- Good for music and calls. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5mm jack for wired earphones.
- 5G ready. Faster data where 5G coverage is available.

Verdict: For the same money, the G56 gives you more RAM and storage, a headphone jack and much better protection against water and drops. The Galaxy M36 wins on screen quality, camera (OIS and 4K) and Samsung’s longer update promise. Choose the G56 for durability, the M36 for photos and long-term software support.
