Why buy the Honor X6d 5G
- 5G for under KSh 20,000. The Dimensity 6300 brings 5G at a price where most phones are still 4G only, which makes the phone a little more future-proof.
- Room to grow. 128GB of storage plus a microSD slot means you will not have to keep deleting WhatsApp media.
- Headphone jack included. Wired earphones plug straight in, handy for radio apps and long commutes.
- Slim and light for a big screen. At 7.9mm and 186g, the 6.75″ display does not come with a bulky body.
- New software. It ships with Android 16 and MagicOS 10 rather than an older version.

Verdict: The X7d costs KSh 3,500 more but gives you double the RAM, a much bigger battery that charges more than twice as fast, and a smoother screen. The X6d’s only real win is 5G. If you live and work mostly in 5G areas and need to keep the budget tight, take the X6d. Otherwise the X7d is the better everyday phone.
