Why buy the iPhone 18 Pro
- A main camera that adjusts like a real lens. The aperture can open wide for low light or close down to f/4.0 to keep more of a scene in focus. That helps with group photos and close-up shots of food or products.
- Three 48MP cameras. Main, ultra-wide and 4x telephoto all use 48MP sensors, so detail stays consistent whether you zoom out for a room or zoom in on a stage.
- Pro power in a compact body. You get the same A20 Pro chip, cameras and screen brightness as the Pro Max in a 6.3-inch phone that weighs 211g.
- Quick top-ups. With a 60W-capable adapter, half a charge takes about 15 minutes, which is handy before a long day out.
- Latest connections. Wi-Fi 7 and Apple’s own C2 5G modem make it ready for faster home fibre routers and 5G networks as they spread.

Verdict: The two phones share the same chip, cameras and charging. The Pro Max adds a bigger screen and around nine more hours of video playback for KSh 28,000 more.
