Samsung Galaxy M36 5G Price in Kenya
The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G price in Kenya is KSh 28,699 to KSh 29,999 at Avechi, depending on the version you pick from the RAM / Storage menu above. It comes with a 1-year warranty, and you can have it delivered or pick it up from our Nairobi shop.
The M36 launched in India in late June 2025 and went on sale in July. Samsung’s M-series phones often share hardware with A-series models, and this one is a good example: you get the same Exynos 1380 chip and camera layout as the Galaxy A26, with an AMOLED screen and six years of Android upgrades, but without an official water resistance rating. It is a good fit for a budget 5G buyer who wants Samsung software and does not need water protection.

Why buy the Galaxy M36
- 5G Samsung under KSh 30,000. Both versions cost less than the Galaxy A26 while sharing its processor and main camera hardware.
- A good selfie camera for video calls. The 13MP front camera records in 4K, which is useful for content creators and anyone who does a lot of Zoom or Google Meet calls.
- Long support. Six major Android upgrades from Android 15 is more than most rivals at this price offer.
- Stabilised main camera. OIS on the 50MP sensor helps in dim rooms and when filming while walking.
- Expandable storage. The microSD slot makes the 128GB limit easy to live with.

Galaxy M36 vs Galaxy A26
| Galaxy M36 5G | Galaxy A26 5G | |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Same: Exynos 1380 | |
| Water and dust | No IP rating listed | IP67 |
| Selfie video | 4K | 1080p |
| Back | Glass | Gorilla Glass Victus+ |
| Weight | 197g | 200g |
| Screen / rear cameras / battery / charging | Same: 6.7″ 120Hz AMOLED, 50MP OIS + 8MP + 2MP, 5,000mAh, 25W | |
| Avechi price (6GB/128GB) | KSh 28,699 | KSh 29,199 |
Verdict: The two are almost the same phone. With only KSh 500 between them, the Galaxy A26 is the better buy for most people because IP67 protects it from accidental dunks. The M36 makes sense if you want 8GB of RAM for under KSh 30,000 or you value 4K selfie video.
