The N6 is a budget 5G phone that OnePlus announced in June 2026. Its headline feature is an 8,000mAh battery, one of the largest you will find in a normal-sized phone, paired with 45W SUPERVOOC charging and OnePlus’s OxygenOS software. It is aimed at people who want a phone that rarely needs charging and who like OnePlus’s clean interface, rather than at camera or gaming enthusiasts.

Why buy the OnePlus N6
- Two days between charges for many people. 8,000mAh is roughly a third more than the 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh common at this price, so moderate users can often skip a night on the charger.
- Charging that keeps up with the battery. 45W SUPERVOOC refills that big cell much faster than the 15W to 18W chargers found on cheaper phones.
- Cooler gaming sessions. Bypass charging sends power straight to the phone while you play plugged in, which reduces battery heat and wear.
- A spare power bank in your pocket. With 5W reverse wired charging, the N6 can top up earbuds or a friend’s phone over a cable during a long matatu ride.
- Clean software. OxygenOS 16 on Android 16 is tidy and quick, and you get two Android upgrades plus three years of security patches.
Pros and cons

| IP65 dust and water-jet protection | Only 2 major OS updates promised |
| Expandable storage | Costs more than rivals with similar hardware |
