The Nothing Phone 3a Pro price in Kenya is KSh 50,999 to KSh 59,099 at Avechi, depending on the version you pick from the RAM / Storage menu above. It comes with a 1-year warranty, and you can have it delivered or pick it up from our Nairobi shop.
Nothing launched the Phone (3a) Pro in March 2025 as the camera-focused member of its mid-range line. Its headline feature is a 50MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, which is rare at this price. It is for buyers who like taking photos of people and distant subjects and want a phone that looks different from the usual glass slab.

Why buy the Phone (3a) Pro
- Periscope zoom at a mid-range price. The 3x telephoto has its own stabilisation, so zoomed shots of a stage, a match or wildlife stay sharp.
- Strong selfies. A 50MP front camera with 4K recording is better than most phones in this bracket.
- Fast top-ups. 50W charging takes the 5,000mAh battery from flat to full in under an hour.
- Clean, distinctive software. Nothing OS is light on bloat, and the Glyph lights on the back can show notifications without waking the screen.
- Bright screen. The 120Hz AMOLED peaks at 3,000 nits, which helps when reading outdoors at midday.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| 3x periscope telephoto with OIS | Only IP64, splash-resistant rather than waterproof |
| 50MP selfie camera with 4K video | Same chip as the cheaper Phone (3a) |
| 50W charging | No memory card slot |
| Bright 120Hz AMOLED | Plastic frame |
| Unique look with Glyph lights | Newer Phone (4a) costs less at Avechi |
Phone (3a) Pro vs Phone (3a)
| Phone (3a) | Phone (3a) Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Telephoto | 50MP, 2x optical | 50MP periscope, 3x optical, OIS |
| Selfie camera | 32MP, 1080p video | 50MP, 4K video |
| Weight | 201g | 211g |
| Chip, screen, battery, charging | Same: Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, 6.77″ 120Hz AMOLED, 5,000mAh, 50W | |
| Avechi price (8GB/128GB) | KSh 38,199 | KSh 50,999 |
| Avechi price (12GB/256GB) | KSh 49,299 | KSh 62,899 |
Verdict: The two phones run at the same speed and last about as long on a charge. The Pro’s extra KSh 12,800 to KSh 13,600 buys a longer zoom and a much better selfie camera. If you mostly shoot close-up scenes, the Phone (3a) is the smarter buy. If zoom and video calls matter, the Pro earns its premium.
Other phones to consider
- Nothing Phone (3a) (from KSh 38,199): the same core phone with a 2x zoom for much less.
- Nothing Phone (4a) (from KSh 47,499): Nothing’s 2026 model, with a newer chip and longer support.
- Google Pixel 9a (from KSh 53,999): IP68 and excellent point-and-shoot photos, though without optical zoom.
- Motorola Edge 60 (KSh 39,499): another 3x telephoto phone, with IP68 and 512GB storage.
