Why people choose the Redmi Note 15
- A screen you can read anywhere. With a peak of 3,200 nits it is one of the brightest screens under KSh 30,000, so it stays clear on sunny afternoons outdoors.
- Battery for heavy days. 6,000mAh comfortably covers a full day of streaming, navigation and social media, and you can even use the phone to top up earbuds or a friend’s phone with a cable.
- Detailed daylight photos. The 108MP main camera captures plenty of detail in good light, useful for product photos if you sell online.
- Lighter than last year. It is about 13g lighter than the Redmi Note 14 4G while carrying a bigger battery.

4G or 5G version?
The Redmi Note 15 5G costs KSh 6,000 more than the 8GB/256GB 4G model. For that you get 5G, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, optical stabilisation on the main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 4K video, 45W charging and IP66 protection. The battery is slightly smaller at 5,520mAh. If you take a lot of video or want 5G, the extra cost is justified.
Other phones to consider

- Samsung Galaxy A26 5G (from KSh 29,199): IP67 water resistance, 120Hz screen and a glass back.
