Why buy the Nokia 125 Dual SIM
- A bigger screen than older Nokia keypad phones: The 2.0-inch display replaces the 1.77-inch screen used on earlier models, so menus and contacts are easier to read.
- Two SIM slots for two numbers: Keep a personal and a work line in one handset, which suits small traders and families sharing one phone.
- Removable 1000 mAh battery: Swap in a fresh battery when the old one wears out. Nokia says the battery gives days of standby time.
- Room for media with a microSD card: Storage is small at 128 MB, so a card up to 32 GB helps if you want to keep music or recordings.
- Torch and FM radio built in: The LED flash works as a torch during power cuts, and the FM radio runs without earphones being plugged in.
- USB Type-C charging: One charger type is easier to keep track of than the micro-USB cables on older feature phones.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Dual SIM with 4G network support | Small 240 x 320 screen, so text looks coarse |
| Removable 1000 mAh battery | Only 128 MB of internal storage |
| Wireless FM radio, torch and MP3 player | VGA camera is only good for quick snapshots |
| microSD slot up to 32 GB | Basic S30+ software, not a smartphone |
| USB Type-C charging and 3.5 mm jack | Costs about KSh 1,800 more than the cheapest feature phone we stock |

Verdict: The Tecno T486 costs KSh 1,800 less. If the price matters most and you need only basic calls, the Tecno is the better value. The Nokia makes more sense if you want a removable battery, 4G support and a card slot, and those features are confirmed for this model.
